学习难点 扫读和跳读的阅读技巧
Part one: Lead-in (热身活动+词汇引入)
Watch a short video: adults and kids enjoy eating hamburgers (截选自动画电影《多云,有时有肉球雨》)Lead a discussion among students: Do you like hamburgers Is eating hamburgers too often good for us 引出主线人物Little Fat: take a close look at Little Fat’s fridge, what food does he like review the words students have learnt before and introduce new words: sweets and chocolate, hamburgers and cola, cake, beef/steak, chicken, potato chips, fried chicken wings, bread, etc. (适当引入难度不大的课外词汇)通过食物引入diet和lifestyle相关词汇和短语:tooth, teeth, health, sugar, diet, keep healthy, keep fit, exercise, do exercise, lifestyle, change, etc. a quiz for new words: 通过截屏发送,让学生小组为单位在屏幕上书写完成,小组组长交换批改,查漏补缺。 本版块的主要意图在于利用动画帮助学生热身,调动学习热情,更重要的是,设置一个合理的场景,恰如其分的引入新词汇,并且利用未来教室学生端,以a quiz for new words当场检测。
Part two: fast-reading (skimming & scanning了解大意+定位细节)
Watch a video of the text with the question: Who has a healthy diet and lifestyle, Kitty or Daniel Scanning——look through the text quickly to find specific information: How often does Kitty cat fish and vegetables What does Daniel plan to do 这一版块要求学生运用skimming来略读/跳读全篇文章,掌握文章大意——谁的饮食和生活方式更健康。初一学生跳读能力还在培养中,所以我们还是完整光看视频后再作答。然后运用scanning扫读,要求学生先看问题,再去文章中定位细节,完成两道multiple-choice questions
Part three: careful-reading (听说读写结合,巩固文章理解)

Can he wear it now Is it fit for him 引出活动:Design a healthy diet for Little Fat (Group 1-3) Design an exercise plan for Little Fat (Group 4-6) 老师巡视组间,提供帮助,然后邀请小组展示代替小胖表扬学生作品,展示a thank-you letter作为拓展阅读A thank-you letterDear classmates in Class7:Thank you very much for your advice. The diet and the exercise plan you told me are really helpful. Now I keep eating healthy food and do exercise every day, and I seldom eat hamburgers and sweet snacks. There is too much fat and sugar in them. You are right——health is the greatest wealth in the world. We should have a healthy body, then we can do better in the studies and work.
