[教材分析]
牛津初中英语每个单元围绕着一个话题安排学习内容。本教材注重培养学生的英文思维习惯，说话和写作的条理性和逻辑性，以及学生的自主学习能力。本单元的标题为Shopping, 主要围绕购物展开的。本课文的内容是认识一些商店，并学会英语进行表达，能用英语进行沟通，进行购物。本课的主线是my shopping plan--Hobo’s shopping plan--Daniel’s shopping plan--your shopping plan.
[学情分析]
处于初一上半学期的学生已经具备一定的自学能力。能够用英语完整地表述句子。为了让学生在课堂上有话可说，从就近学生熟悉的万达广场开始，本课还充分利用了小组的力量，多讨论，多活动，让优秀的学生带着基础薄弱的孩子一起走。在这种内容，有帮助的氛围中，学生会更投入，更乐于参与到课堂中来。
