What is a fact
A fact is something that exists or has happened, for example, an object, event or experience. Facts are statements that can be proved by evidence.
What is an opinion
An opinion can be a general or individual view, belief or impression. Opinions can sometimes be identified by the presence of words such as “feel”, “believe” and “think”.

在not only ... but also ...连接的句子中,如果not only位于句首,则紧随其后的句子用部分倒装,但but also后的句子则不用。
e.g. Not only did they bring snacks and
drinks, but they also brought cards for
entertainment when they had a picnic in
the forest.
当not only ... but also ...连接两个并列主语时,谓语动词的数服从“就近原则”,即but also后面的部分决定谓语动词的数。
e.g. Not only I but also Jane and Mary are
tired of having one examination after
another.
