设计说明
通过给学生呈现有关学校活动的教学图片来复习日期的表达，让学生了解学校生活中的各种活动并做好记录。让他们通过活动感受丰富多彩的校园生活，学会学习，学会娱乐。
教学目标
1. 知识目标：
(1)掌握单词：test，trip，art，festival，dear，student，thing，term，busy，time。
(2)掌握短语：English test，birthday party，school trip，soccer/basketball game，have a good time，School Day，English Day，book sale，Sports Day。
(3)掌握句型：
We have some interesting and fun things for you this term.
Next month，we have an art festival.
This is a really busy term!

(1)能够正确、流利地阅读本单元的句型、对话和文章，训练学生根据听力内容解决问题的能力。

教学过程
Step 1　Revision and Leading in
　　1. Have a dictation about some ordinal numbers.
　　2. Ask students about their favorite school activities.
　　Step 2　Presentation
1. Show pictures of different activities，including the pictures of 1a，and present the words and expressions.
T：Boys and girls!Look at the pictures on the screen.

S：It’s an English test/a school trip...
T：Class! Can you match the pictures with the events
After matching，check the answers.

2. Ask students to read the words and expressions aloud，and then have a reading competition.
Step 3　Listening and Practice
1. Work on 1b. Listen and circle the events you hear in 1a. Then check the answers together.

S：It’s on October 5th.
T：Let’s listen again and fill in the calendar in 1c.

3. Check the answers in pairs like the sample in 1d.

1. Read the text in 2b and list the activities and the dates. Fill in the chart. Then check the answers.

(1)时间介词(at，in，on) 的用法
①at表示时间的点、时刻等。
②in表示在某个较长的时间(如：世纪、朝代、年、月、季节以及泛指的上午、下午或晚上等)内。
③on表示具体的某一天或一个特定的时间，如某节日、星期几等；也可表示在某个特定的上午、下午或晚上等。

busy形容词，意为“忙碌的；无暇的”，可作表语或定语。
