一、 教学目标
1. 运用more...than,fewer...than,less...than,the most,the fewest,the least来进行数量的比较;
2. 掌握形容词比较级和最高级的构成及用法。
二 、 教学重难点
more...than,fewer...than,less...than,the most+(un)countable nouns,the fewest+countable nouns,the least+uncountable nouns句型来进行数量的比较,让学生注意可数名词和不可数名词的使用。
重点词句:1.Millie has more tomatoes than Daniel. Millie 的西红柿比Daniel 多。
2 Millie has less rice than Daniel. Millie 的米饭比Daniel 少。
3 Millie has fewer bananas than Kitty. Millie 的香蕉比 Kitty 少。
4 Kitty has the most eggs. Kitty的鸡蛋最多。
5 Daniel has the fewest tomatoes. Daniel 的西红柿最少。
6 Millie has the least juice. Millie 的果汁最少。
7 I study the most subjects among the three of us . 我们三个当中我学的科目最多。
8 Sandy came second in the race. She ran faster than Millie.
Sandy跑了第二名,她比Millie跑得快。
9 Amy came first in the race. She ran the fastest .
Amy 跑了第一名,她跑得最快。
学生容易出现的问题
1. 比较多少时容易受汉语的影响,出现汉语式英语。
如: My books are more than yours.
2. 部分学生不能正确使用little和few的比较等级,与名词搭配时易混淆。
3. 形容词与副词的转换及其比较等级的构成。
如:quick quicker quickest ----quickly more quickly most quickly
healthy healthier healthiest---- healthily more healthily most healthily
教学思路
本节课遵循任务型教学的基本理念,借助多媒体等教学辅助手段进行授课,有难度有梯度。教学过程始终以学生为主体,灵活运用多种方式完成任务。任务难度小时,让学生个体完成,难度大时,让学生结对或小组来完成。教学中注意各环节的衔接。在各项活动中让学生掌握副词比较级和最高级的用法。突出本节课的主题,并总结巩固本节课的学习内容。

教学反思
本节课虽然属于语法教学,运用的是任务型教学法,但由于情境演示效果好,并利用学生身边或熟悉的示例来教学,因此学生对语法学习兴趣很大。本节课一开始我先呈现了一张有我和班里两名学生在北京天安门广场拍的照片,引导学生说出北京的名胜,进而让学生比较北京与无锡在各方面的比较。因为照片上有学生们的同伴,所以一开始学生兴趣就很高,而且有图片呈现,学生说的欲望很强,基本掌握了用more…than …/ fewer …than /less…than…进行两者比较。在进一步的操练中,我采用葛优和三毛的图片进行头发多少的比较,使学生一直保持较兴奋的状态。接下来以学校生活进行三者(以上)比较,让学生掌握用the most…/ the least…/ the fewest…进行三者或以上比较。最让我觉得巧妙的是用柱状图来表示多少,让学生一目了然。最后落实到笔头,练习到位,学生掌握较好。
整堂课学生情态积极,锻炼机会较多,师生互动良好。在最后的拓展环节,还可以更宽更深入。个别比较沉闷的学生要给予更多的机会展示。
