Masculinity usually describes men, but people now think that the word could have different meanings.
Here is a survey about the meaning of masculinity.
Xu Chenchen believes that masculinity is about “being polite”. “The boys in our class would like to do the harder parts of the cleaning tasks and help girls when changing seats, which are nice acts,” she says. “Masculinity should not only be for boys,” she also says. “It should be an important quality(品质) for all teenagers, both boys and girls.”
