(3)The students will be able to aware that a good composition needs a proper framework.
Emotion aims The students will be stimulated to be more polite.
Teaching important and difficult points: 1. The students will be able to write a polite letter. 2. The students will be able to use the key sentence patterns. 3. The students will be able to learn and use the writing strategies.

I. Pre-writing activities
1.Free-talk: Excuse me ,may I know your name Could you please tell me… 2.Play a video about asking the way Free-talk about the topics Watch a video To lead the Ss into the atmosphere of the class. 2.To lead into today’s topic
Ⅱ. While-writing activities
1.Mini talk: Present the sentence patterns by asking questions: Could you tell me where you come from Would you mind telling me what your hobby is 1.Learn and practice the sentence patterns( object clauses) Could you tell me where you come from Would you mind telling me what your hobby is 1.To present and practice the key sentence patterns. 2.To pave the way for writing. 3.To stimulate Ss’ passion and arouse Ss’ interests in writing.
2. Make a summary of the mini talk and lead Ss to work in pairs. Many teachers from other parts of Taizhou want to know something about Sanmen. (like places of interest, shopping center, restaurant…) 2.Role –play the conversation. 1.To consolidate the “mini talk” and practice the sentence patterns to pave the way for writing. 2.To let the Ss know in which aspects can they write in the letter.
3.Present a letter which is written by the teacher and ask two questions. What information do I want to get Is it a polite letter 3. Read the letter and answer the questions. 1.To cultivate Ss’ appreciation of the articles. 2.To get ready for the next step.
