Step 1:Warming up and lead-in Do you have a healthy body Do you want to keep healthy What are you going to do Step 2:Pre-reading 1.Show some pictures about exercising to the students. 2.Ask them to look at the pictures in Activity 1. 3.Have them describe the activities in the pictures.And say which ones are healthy. 4.Ask the students to share their opinions. 5.Check the answers. Keys: b c d e 6.Teach them the new words in the passage in Activity 2. Step 3:Reading 1.Play the recording and have the students listen to the tape carefully. 2.Play the tape again.Let students listen and repeat,and pay attention to the stress and intonation. 3.Let students read the passage,work in pairs and find out the difficulties in the passage and ask the teacher for help. 4.Explain the difficulties to the students. 5.Ask the students to read the passage aloud.Then match the people with the pictures in Activity 1. 6.Have them show their answers,and then check.
