Module 2 Unit 2 It’s very old.
一、 教材分析
  这个内容是四年级下册 Module 2 Unit 2 It's very old. 我将采用多样化的教学手段激发学生学习英语的兴趣和愿望,使学生通过合作学习体验荣誉感和成就感,从而树立自信心,发展自主学习 的能力,形成初步用英语进行简单日常交际的能力。
二、学情分析
  四年级的学生,已经有了一年多的英语学习经验,他们了解到英语的学习少不了多读多听多练。经过本模块第一单元的学习,学生已经初步掌握了如何用形容词来描述物体的句型:This is___. It’s very+形容词。学生已掌握的知识和心理状态为本节课的自主探究打下了基础。
三、 教学目标
1、知识目标
  (1) 让学生能听、说、认、读old . famous. Hyde park. Tower bridge等单词。
(2) 通过学习让学生熟练掌握句型 This is___. It’s very+形容词
2、能力目标:
  (1) 能听懂对于形容物体的句子,例如 This is Tower bridge. It’s very famous and very beautiful.
  (2) 根据图片或在场景下进行简单的英语交流和表达,培养学生灵活运用所学知识进行交流的能力.
3、情感态度目标
(1) 通过学习活动,使学生有兴趣听、说英语。
(2) 让学生在鼓励性评价中树立学习英语的自信心。
四、教学重难点
1、学习新单词 old、famous能正确认读。
2、巩固已学句型:This is +某物 / It’s very+形容词。
五、课前准备
  教具准备:课文录音;单词卡片,文中三处景点的贴画。
  学具准备:景点海报画稿(学生上一节课的作业)
六、教学策略
  为了突破这堂课的重难点,根据小学生好奇、好胜、好动、模仿力强、表现欲旺盛等生理和心理特点,我主要采取了以下教法和学法。
  (一) 小组活动学习法
  把全班分成男孩和女孩两大组,书写在黑板的左边或右边。 以竞赛的方式爬大本钟,最终胜利者能获得大本钟纪念扣。课堂各项教学活动均以小组活动为主线,学生互相 交流、探究,共同完成学习任务,在合作中感受学习英语的乐趣及交流的意义,也通过小组成员之间“荣辱与共”的关系而形成同步学习的环境。
  (二) 情境教学法
给学生不断创设各种真实的场景,促使学生说英语。
  (三) 课堂评价主要以鼓励性评价为主。
  课上恰当使用激励性评语和奖励个人贴画、小组奖红旗(画在黑板上)的方法,让学生渴望成功的心理得到满足,这也是激励学生积极投身英语学习的`一个最简单而有效的方法。老师操作起来也比较方便。
七、教学过程
Step1 Preparation
1. Warming-up
T: Class begins.

T: Good afternoon, boys and girls. Sit down, please. Now let’s watch the vedio and sing a song together.
T: Good.
Ss: Thank you.
设计意图:通过歌曲和律动,让课堂气氛活跃起来,歌曲中的词语是学生熟知的,能很快融入。
Review the objection they have leart before.
设计意图:回顾旧知,增强学生的学习信心,并为本节课的新知做好准备。
2、Lead-in
T:boys and girls,do you remember the panda Panpan He travels in London,right
Ss:yes,right!
T:now,he is going on his trip,but,on the way,he meets two birds.They invite Panpan to visit their homes warmly.
设计意图:承接上节课盼盼伦敦之旅的主线,在途中遇到两只小鸟,自然过渡到课本内容。
Step2、Presentation
(1) Part1: Listen to the tape.
T: Now,Panpan is going to visit birds’ homes, Let’s listen and match the pictures:(听录音根据第一部分的课文内容连线)
T: Have you finish the match (After watching)
T: The yellow bird is in the (男女生竞赛,师加分)
S: It’s in the Bird’s Nest,No.2 picture.
T:What about the blue bird’s home Where is it
S:It’s in the Big Ben,No.1picture.
设计意图:通过听录音匹配图片,整体感知part1部分内容。
Lead Ss to look at the PPT and answer.
T:Whose house is it
Ss:This is blue bird’s house.
T:And do you; know what’s this
Ss:It’s Big Ben.
T:Yes,you are great! Now ,please let’s have a look the history of Big Ben.
T:so,look at this photo,If we want to introuduce the Big Ben to others,we can say “This is Big Ben,it’s very old and it’s very tall.(引导学生跟着尝试说)
T:you are so clever! Now,please pay attention to this new word “old”,follow the tape.

设计意图:通过给出图片,问题,引导学生学会用形容词描述地方,并且教授新单词,会读会用新单词。
Part(2):Text learning
T: London is big and beautiful.There are many famous and special places.so panpan makes a video,sharing with Amy and Lingling.Now,let’s listen and answer question.(整体感知课文)
Q1: How many places did Amy and Lingling see from Panpan’s vedio (After watching the text) (男女生竞赛,师加分)
S: three places.
Q2:What are they (男女生竞赛,师加分)
S:Big Ben,Hyde Park,Tower Bridge.
T:Now,look at the ppt,what’s this How do you think of it
Ss:This is Big Ben.it’s very old and very tall.
T:How about this one
Ss:This is Hyde Park.It’s very beautiful.
T:What about the last one What’s this and how do you think of it
Ss:This is Tower Bridge.It’s very famous and it’s very beautiful ,too.

小组互相讨论, 对上节课做的海报进行描述介绍,并在班里进行示范宣传。
