重点:
1.能够综合运用所学的单词和句型描述过去发生的事情和状态。
2.了解日记的写法。
难点:一般过去时的综合运用。

四、教学过程
Step 1Warming-up
Look at the pictures and discuss the questions.

Step 2 Pre-reading
1. Learn some information about Malaysia.
2. Look at the pictures and learn new phrases.
Step 3 While-reading
Read Jane’s diary entries about her vacation and answer the questions.
Read Jane’s diary entries again and mark T (True) or F (False).
3. Read Jane’s diary entries for the third time. Fill in the chart.

Step 4 Post-reading
1. Complete the conversation using the information in the diary entries.
2. Fill in the blanks and retell the diary entries.
3. Learn some language points.

arrive in + 大地点 / arrive at + 小地点到达某地
(2)…so we decided to take the train.
decide to do sth. 决定做某事
(3) I wonder what life was like here in the past.
wonder想知道 (=want to know)

feel like感受到;感觉;想要,后跟名词、代词或动名词
