Step 1：Warming up and lead－in What's your hobby Why do you enjoy your hobby When did you start doing it How often do you…？ Step 2：Pre－reading 1．Ask the students to read the words and expressions in the box in Activity 1. 2．Let them work in pairs and talk about their hobbies.Use the words and expressions in the box. 3．Have some students share their hobbies in class. 4．Let them read the words in Activity 2. 5．Ask the students to work in pairs and choose the words from the box to describe their hobbies. 6．Teach them the new words in the passage. Step 3：Reading 1．Play the recording and have the students listen to the tape carefully. 2．Play the tape again.Let students listen and repeat，and pay attention to the stress and intonation. 3．Let students read the passage，work in pairs，find out the difficulties in the passage and ask the teacher for help. 4．Explain the difficulties to the students. 5．Ask the students to read the passage aloud.
