Jiang Wuyuan was born in 1943 in Bijie and he started to teach at a primary school there in 1961. He still remembers those days as an accountant (会计) of his village after finishing middle school.
At that time, he wanted to get higher education. However, his father, a primary school teacher, asked him to teach.
