“Whaaaat’s uppppp ” Have you ever seen anyone write like this Now more and more kids like using these kinds of words in text messages and online posts. These kinds of words are called stretchable(可拉伸的)words.
Younger people especially like using stretchable words because they sound playful and fun. They can allow you to communicate strong feelings without using emojis.

The match started badly. The Greenford team were strong. After five minutes, Zadie jumped for a ball and a Greenford player pushed her in the back. She landed with a thump and cried out in pain. Then soon after, Zadie tried to take a throw-in. But when she threw the ball, her arm hurt very badly, and the ball rolls to a Greenford player.
“Are you all right ” Holly asked. Zadie shook her head unhappily.
The match didn’t get any better for Westbourne. After twenty minutes, Greenford scored their first goal. And after twenty-five minutes, they scored their second. 2-0! Zadie found it difficult to run. She wasn’t playing well. Then the referee(裁判)blew her whistle. It was half-time.
In the changing room, Petty examined Zadie’s arm. “This looks bad,” she said. “I don’t think you can play.”
“Oh, please, Ms Petty,” said Zadie. “Please. I have to play.”
Petty thought for a long time. Then she sprayed(喷洒)Zadie’s arm and put a bandage around it. “OK, Zadie. But be careful. You can’t play your usual physical game. So use your head.”
The second half was similar to the first. But at least Greenford didn’t get another goal. Then with fifteen minutes to go, Zadie got the ball and scored the goal. Then in the last minute, Westbourne got a corner.
It was the last kick of the match. Zadie was holding her arm in pain. She put the ball on the penalty spot and looked at the goalkeeper. She ran up to the ball, looking to the left. But she kicked the ball to her right and the goalkeeper dived the wrong way. The ball rolled slowly into the Greenford goal. The referee blew her whistle for the last time. Westbourne were the champions! It was the big day for Zadie!
