一、宾语从句的概念
放在动词后面的句子，称为“宾语从句”

注：that 在句中无词汇意义，在从句中不充当成分，在口语当中往往省略。

连词that不能省略的几种情况
在由that引导的宾语从句中，由于连词that只起引导功能，无具体意义，不担当任何成份，因此在口语或非正式的文体中常可省略。然而，大凡规则总有例外的情况，在下列that引导的宾语从句中，that则不能省略。
1. that从句中含有主从复合句。如：
I’m afraid that if you’ve lost it, you must pay for it.
2. 主、从句之间有插入语时。如：
It says here, in the newspaper, that English is getting more and more important．
报纸上写着，英语正变得越来越重要。
何时使用that引导的宾语从句
that引导的宾语从句，表示陈述一件事，即由陈述句转化而来。如：
He says. He is listening to the weather report．
→ He says（that）he is listening to the weather report．
他说他正在听天气预报。
1. 主句的谓语动词是believe,expect, explain, feel, imagine, prefer, promise,report, say,see, tell, understand,warn,wish, think, hear, hope, wish, remember, forget, know, say, guess 等时，常接that引导的宾语从句。如：
I hope (that) he will be fine soon．
我希望他很快好起来。
2．主句由“连系动词＋形容词”构成的“系表”结构，常接that引导的宾语从句。这类形 容词多表示感情，如happy, glad, pleased, sad, sure, afraid等等。如：
I’m afraid (that) he can’t come．
恐怕他不能来了。
1．语序
不论什么情况下，宾语从句都要用陈述语序，即“主语＋谓语+其它”。如：
Do you think The radio is too noisy.(合并成主从句)
→Do you think (that) the radio is too noisy

2．时态
that引导的宾语从句，主句用一般现在时，从句可以用符合句意要求的任一时态。如：
He says (that) they have returned already．
他说他们已经回来了。
He tells me that he was born in 1985．
他告诉我他生于1985年。
如果主句用一般过去时，从句要用过去时态的某种形式 (一般过去时，过去进行时，，过去完成时,过去将来时)。如：
He said (that) he bought a new dictionary．
他说他买了本新词典。
I knew that they were studying English．
我知道他们正在学英语。
注: 如果从句表达的是客观事实、真理、自然现象、名言、警句、格言、谚语等等，尽管主 句用一般过去时，从句也要用一般现在时。如：
Our teacher told us that light travels faster than sound．
我们老师告诉我们, 光比 声音传播得快。
He said that time is life．
他说时间就是生命。

被英国人自己称为“后花园”的湖区（Lake District National Park），位于英格兰西北海岸，靠近苏格兰边界方圆2300平方公里，内有大小不一的16个湖，1951年被划归为国家公园，是英格兰和威尔士的十一个国家公园中最大的一个。拥有英格兰最高峰斯科菲峰（Scafell Pike）和英格兰最大的湖温德米尔湖。

The holiday hiking lasts for three days in the early summer months.
Spend your first afternoon in Caoping Village. Walk through the rice fields and see Crown Cave. Then enjoy your evening in a fine hotel. You will love it!
The next day you will hike and travel by boat to Yangdi Village, seeing beautiful mountains, waterfalls and bamboo forests along the way. Everything is quiet and relaxing, the air is clear and the loudest noise is the birds singing. A delicious dinner waits for you at the end of the journey.
On the third day, we take you to Moon Hill. You can climb about 800 steps to see fantastic scenery. Finally we take you to Guilin Airport, happy after you great adventure!
