[定义] 在复合句中作宾语的从句叫作宾 语从句。
[结构] 主句+引导词+主语+谓语+其他成 分。
注意: 宾语从句中的语序为陈述句语序。
宾语从句口诀
时态、语序、引导词
学习宾从三注意:
主句若为现在时,从句时态随句意。
主句若为过去时,从句也要用过去。
语序要用陈述序,切莫照般疑问句。
that引导陈述句,省与不省没关系。
从句若表是否时,if、whether均可以。
特殊疑问作宾语,仍用原来疑问词。
◆if、 whether引导的宾语从句 当由陈述句充当宾语从句时,常由that来引导,其中that在句中没有任何实际意义,通常可以省略;当由一般疑问句充当宾语从句时,常由if或whether来引导,if或whether在句中意为“是否”。如:
◆who, whom, whose, what, when, why等引导的宾语从句 如果宾语从句原来是特殊疑问句, 只需用原来的疑问词引导即可。

Sample writing
I met Peter in primary school. We found ourselves sitting next to each other. At first we were just friends at school, but as we grew older, we started doing other things together. We would spend time at each other’s houses at the weekend, and our parents took us away on holiday together. We were like brothers almost.
Then we went to different junior high schools and we didn’t see each other very often. But one evening when I joined a new football club, I found Peter in the club. So we started practising together twice a week, and later played in the same team. In fact, we built a great goal-scoring partnership, probably because we knew each other so well. I think we’ll still be close friends in the future.
