【知识点击】
What about... 这是常用的一句口语。实际上是一个省略句，既What is it about ... “（关于）...怎么样”。
（1）这个句子一般情况下是不单独使用得，一定得有上文的，在述说了某一事情之后，转向另一事物时，才用到这一句式。例如：
A: My father is tall and handsome.我父亲高大而英俊。
B: What about your mother 你母亲呢（怎样）？
A: We're going out for a trip but I don't know whether to go to the countryside or to a big city.
我们准备去旅行，可是不知道是去乡下，还是去大城市。
B: What about going to museum
去看博物馆如何？
另外，这个句式还常用How about替换。
（2）what about to do 和 what about doing 的区别
1."What about to do... "意思是说两个或两个以上的人谈话时，大家都没有做其他事情，下面要说的这个事情是给大家提一个建议，可以译为“我们去做……吧？”
例如： What about to go to the park this afternoon
2."What about doing... "意思是说一个或更多人在做一件无聊的事情或是已经厌倦的事情，说话人给他（们）建议做另外一个事情以对付不高兴的心理,可以译为“做……怎么样？”。
例如： What about playing a game
