一、形容词的用法
1 定义：表示人或事物性质或状态的词。
2 用法 ①作定语，修饰名词
※形容词修饰something，anything，nothing，everything等复合不定代词时，须放在其后。
eg: Let's give her something different to eat.
It's nothing serious.
②作表语，用于系动词和连系动词之后（常见连系动词有：sound, taste, smell. seem, keep/stay, turn/get/become, feel)
③作宾语补足语 ---补充说明宾语情况
二、副词的用法
1 定义:副词是用来修饰动词、形容词、副词或整个句子的一类词，表示范围程度等。
2 用法 ①频率副词 : usually, often, always, never, hardly ever, sometimes 等，用于系动词/助动词/情态动词之后实义动词之前。
② 方式副词 作状语修饰动词
③ 程度副词 修饰形容词/副词 ，常见程度副词：very , quite ,really, too, so, pretty
三、形容词/副词原级的用法
1 “A+be/实义动词+as+原级+as+乙”表示AB两者程度相同。
2“A+be/助动词+not+as/so+原级+as+B"表示“A不如B......"。
3 表示“A是B的......倍”时，用“A+be+倍数+as+形容词原级 +as+B”结构。
四、形容词/副词比较级的用法
1 基本用法：表示两者之间的比较，常用句型结构 “A+be/实义动词+比较级+than+B",表示"A比B..."
2 特殊用法
⑴比较级前可加much，even，a little, a lot等，表示不同程度。
⑵"形容词比较级+and+比较级"或"more and more+原级” 表示“越来越…”
⑶"The +比较级......，the+比较级...." 表示 “越…越…”
⑷“A +be +the +比较级+of the two…”表示“两者中较…的”
五、形容词/副词最高级的用法
1 基本用法
⑴ 表示三者或三者以上的人或物进行比较时，用最高级形式。形容词最高级前一般加定冠词the，句末常跟一个in/of短语来表示范围。
⑵表示在三者或三者以上的人或物中进行选择时，用“which/who is/动词+the+最高级，A、B or C" 结构。
2特殊用法
⑴ one of the +最高级+复数名词，表示“最....之一”。
⑵形容词最高级前面可加序数词，表示“第几最......."。
⑶形容词比较级结构可以表示最高级含义。
