设计说明
这节课的重点是写作。首先完成3a任务，让学生了解如何介绍身边的场所。在完成3b时，可以用“教师提问、学生回答”的方式，复习如何表达哪家是最好的电影院(服装店、广播电台)以及原因，然后让学生根据自己的喜好填写表格。这样既能对已学知识有所复习，又能让学生找准写作的方向，然后顺理成章地完成3c的写作。最后让学生独立完成Self Check，检查自己对本单元语法的掌握情况。
教学目标
1. 知识目标：
(1)复习形容词及副词的最高级的构成规则。掌握单词crowded。
(2)掌握句型：“Greenwood Park is the best place to go to on weekends.”“I think...is the best city in China because it is the most beautiful.”
2. 能力目标：运用形容词和副词的最高级来描写自己所在城镇的最好的地方或事物。
3. 情感目标：指导学生了解自己的家乡，热爱自己的家乡。

Step 1　Review
Check the homework. Ask the students to retell the passage in 2b.

2. Read the article about Greenwood Park. Fill in the blanks with the correct superlative forms of the adjectives and adverbs in the box.

其次，分析有空格的每个句子，看空格处应填形容词还是副词，根据句意确定单词。
最后，将单词的最高级形式填到空白处。副词最高级前可以不加the。

1. Write about your town and the best places/things there.

2. Let some students read their passages to the class.

I live in Zhouzhuang in Jiangsu. It is one of the oldest and most beautiful towns in China.
There aren’t many roads in Zhouzhuang，and I think that’s the best thing about this town. We don’t have cars or buses because we use boats to get around town. Many people visit the town throughout the year，and they enjoy going on the boat tours to see the entire town.
There are many special snacks for visitors to buy in Zhouzhuang，such as sesame cakes and walnut cakes. Visitors should also try the Wansan pork shank，the most famous dish in Zhouzhuang. To me，the best place to eat Wansan pork shank is my father’s restaurant. It is in the center of the town and everyone knows it. It is very crowded in summer.

Step 7　Cooperative inquiry
形容词和副词比较等级重点句型归纳：
句型一：形容词/副词比较级+than...
该句型为比较级的最基本句型。只要看到than，即可确定前面使用比较级。
He is taller (tall) than me. 他比我高。
The boy does his homework more carefully (carefully) than the girl. 那个男孩比那个女孩做家庭作业认真。
句型二：less + 形容词原级+than
该句型表示“不如/不及……”，特别需要注意的是，less本身就是little的比较级，后面要跟形容词原级。
This computer is less expensive (expensive) than that one. 这台电脑不如那台电脑贵。
句型三：as+形容词/副词原级+as
Tom writes as carefully (careful) as Sam.
汤姆和萨姆写得一样认真。
This book is as interesting (interesting) as that one.
这本书和那本书一样有趣。
句型四：not as/so+形容词/副词原级+as
该句型表示“前者不如后者……”，往往可以同句型一进行同义句转换。
I can’t run as fast (fast) as you.
我跑得不如你快。
句型五：the+形容词/副词最高级+in/of/among+比较范围
该句型中，副词最高级前的the可以省略。in表示“在某一范围内”，如in the classroom，in the world。of表示“在同类之中”，of后面的词与主语同类。among表示“在三者或三者以上之中”，among后接名词或代词。
Peter is the tallest of the six students.
彼得是六个学生中最高的。
The Changjiang River is the longest (long) river in our country. 长江是我们国家最长的河。
句型六：one of+the+形容词最高级+可数名词复数形式
one of有三大考点：①后跟形容词最高级；②后接可数名词复数形式；③作主语时，谓语动词用单数形式。
Shanghai is one of the largest (large) cities (city) in China. 上海是中国最大的城市之一。
句型七：比较级+and+比较级/more and more+多音节形容词、副词或部分双音节形容词、副词原级
该句型表示“越来越……”，如果该形容词或副词的比较级加-er构成，则用前面的句型；如果该形容词或副词的比较级加more构成，则用后面的句型。
It’s getting hotter and hotter (hot).
天气变得越来越热。
Our city becomes more and more beautiful.
我们的城市变得越来越美丽。
句型八：比较级+than+any other+可数名词单数形式=比较级+than+the other+可数名词复数形式
这两个句型虽然含有比较级，但实际上表达最高级含义。以下三个句子表达的是同一个意思：
本是我们班最勤奋的学生。
Ben is the most hard-working student in our class.
=Ben is more hard-working than any other student in our class.
=Ben is more hard-working than the other students in our class.

Ⅰ. 1. cheap　as...as表示“与……一样”，中间应用形容词或副词原级，故填cheap。
2. more popular　两者(football 和basketball)比较应用比较级，popular的比较级为more popular。
3. the biggest　由the fifth orange和of all可知要用最高级，big的最高级为biggest，形容词最高级前要加定冠词the。
4. better　由than可知要用good的比较级better。
5. the most beautiful　此处是对三者进行比较，要用beautiful的最高级，形容词最高级前要加the，故填the most beautiful。
Ⅱ. 1. Does Jason’s have the best clothes 　谓语动词has是第三人称单数，故在变一般疑问句时借助助动词does，has还原为原形have。
2. He is the tallest student in his class. 　由原句句意“他比他班里其他任何学生都高” 可知他是班里最高的。
3. How much is the bike 　how much可用来提问物品的价格。
4. later than　题干意为“汤姆起床晚。萨姆起床更晚”，由此可知“萨姆比汤姆起床晚”。
