设计说明
本节课通过师生问答，复习上节课部分内容；通过师生交谈、讲笑话学习生词，并导入新课，在教学过程中通过检查预习情况、分角色表演对话、分组交流探究、看表格编对话等活动，充分练习本课时重点内容；并且通过小组调查让学生之间增进了解；通过说唱形式归纳本课时重点句型，让学生愉快地巩固所学重点知识。
教学目标
1. 知识目标：
(1)掌握单词：discussion，happen，expect，joke。
(2)掌握句型：“What do you plan to watch on TV tonight ”“What can you expect to learn from the news ”“What do you think of... ”及其回答。
(3)掌握语法：动词不定式作宾语。
2. 能力目标：
(1)学会运用所学句型描述自己喜爱的电视节目。
(2)学会制订观看电视节目的计划。
3. 情感目标：能够根据自身兴趣爱好和需要选择合适的电视节目，形成正确的文化观念，培养积极向上的生活情趣。

Step 1　Warming up & Leading in
T：Good morning，boys and girls! How many TV shows did we learn yesterday
Ss：Seven.
T：What are they
S1：Talk show，soap opera，sports show，sitcom，game show，talent show and news.
T：Great，thank you. What do you think of talk shows
S1：I can’t stand them.
T：What do you think of sitcoms
S2：I love them.

T：Now please take out your homework. Please report it.

(1)hope意为“希望”，常用于：①hope to do sth. 意为“希望做某事”；②hope + 从句 意为“希望……”。

(2)expect意为“预料；期待”，常用于：①expect to do sth. 意为“期望做某事”；②expect sb. to do sth. 意为“期望某人做某事”；③expect + 从句 意为“期望……”。

Grace and Sarah are talking. Sarah tells Grace today they had a discussion about TV shows in class. Her classmates like game shows and sports shows. But Grace can’t stand them. She loves soap operas because she likes to follow the story and see what happens next. Sarah doesn’t mind soap operas. Her favorite TV shows are the news and talk shows. She thinks they may not be very exciting，but you can expect to learn a lot from them. She hopes to be a TV reporter one day.
