一、教学目标
1. 掌握频率副词always, usually, often, sometimes, hardly ever, never等的用法。
2. 一般现在时态的运用,尤其是第三人称单数谓语动词的运用。
3. 学会使用频度副词进行日常交流,能听懂并表达以how often 等词为引导词的日常生活习惯话题。
4. 通过相互的调查与讨论,让他们自己得出什么样的生活习惯,才是最健康的。输送健康概念,从小就培养学生科学健康的世界观和积极进取的人生观。
二、教学重点及难点
重点:
1. 频度副词的理解及使用。
2. 弄清一般现在时在不同人称下动词形式及提问的变化。
难点:
1. 第三人称单数谓语动词在此核心句型中的运用。
2. 能够谈论课余时间的各项活动,以及初步认识和使用频率副词。

四、教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up
Talk about what they usually do on weekends.
【设计意图】教师与学生进行互动,口头询问句型What do you usually do on weekends 和频率副词的使用。
Step 2 Presentation
Work on Grammar focus
1. Read the sentences and pay attention to the frequency words.
2. Learn the grammar.
(1) 常用的频度副词有always(总是),usually(通常),often(经常),sometimes(有时),seldom(很少),hardly(几乎不),never(从不)等;用法都是放在be 动词和助动词后、行为动词前。
(2) 表示具体的频率、次数时,一次用once,两次用twice,三次及以上用“基数词+times”。
(3) 对频度副词提问时,用how often。
(4) 频度副词一般用在实义动词之前,be动词、助动词或情态动词之后,有时为了强调,也可置于句首。
【设计意图】让学生朗读Grammar Focus部分的句子,并注意频度副词。再系统学习频度副词的用法。

Complete the questions with do ordoes. Then match the questions and answers.
【设计意图】在一般现在时的疑问句中,学生在添加助动词do或does的问题上会经常出错,这个活动意在巩固一般现在时中疑问句的正确用法,将grammar focus中总结注意事项延伸到运用。同时通过配对练习加强学生对一般疑问句与特殊疑问句的认识与应用。

【设计意图】此活动引导学生关注特殊疑问句的结构,学生需要根据情况补充主语和助动词,还要注意句子的语序。

2. Add more ways of improving English to the chart. Then make conversations about the frequency of doing these things.
