“Where is / are ...”为特殊疑问句,用于询问物或人的位置、地点。where意为“在哪里”, 是对地点提问的特殊疑问词,用来引导就地点进行提问的特殊疑问句。

where引导的特殊疑问句答语有以下三种形式。
(1) 主语（代词）+ be +介词短语。
(2) 可直接回答物品所在地点。
(3) 当你不知道在哪里，可用“I don’t know.”来 回答，意为“我不知道。”
