I. Warm up T presents his/her friend Candy’s fridge and asks Ss: What has Candy got T shows a shopping list of Candy and asks Ss to label the pictures with the words and expression from the box.After checking the answers, T asks Ss to match the words drink and eat with the pictures. Practise healthy and unhealthy food and drink by using pictures.Ask Ss to pracitse like the following: A: What’s your favourite food/drink?B:My favourite food/ drink is…A:Why B:Because(因为) ….healthy/delicious. 通过回答Candy冰箱里有什么来激活学生有关食物和饮料的词汇级have/has got的表达式。引入新知后,给予学生机会表述自己喜欢的食物和饮料,并简单阐述原因,既巩固了所学,也为阅读扫清词汇障碍。
ⅡRead and understand Read and answer two questions:1). What’s main idea of this passage 2). Who is this passage written for?Ss read the passage and do True or False questions. Ss read the passage again and complete the table about healthy and unhealthy food and drink on page 23. Underline some phrases and have Ss understand the meaning. Activity 4. ⅢWrite Ask Ss to look at the sentences and read the examples with the class. Ask Ss to join the sentences with but. (Activity 6)Ask Ss to complete the sentence about themselves.(Activity 7).
