学习目标与核心素养 1.Knowledge objectives: Enable students to acquire the basic usage of some words and phrases.2.Skill objectives: Enable students to ①have a good understanding of reading skills. ② learn about the life and contribution of Newton.3.Emotional objectives: Learn the philosophy of famous people’s sayings, and cultivate a positive attitude towards life and good quality.4.Thinking quality objectives: Think over the friendship between Einstein and the little girl, and make the relatively objective and fair evaluation about Einstein.
重点 Enable students to acquire the basic usage of some words and phrases.

讲授新课 Pre-readingLet Ss look at the picture and read the title on P29. Then let them guess what the story is about.ReadingAsk the students to listen to the tape and read after it.Reading task1. Lead Ss to review structure of the plot of a short story.2. Lead the students to read the text again and let them divide the story into 5 parts according the structure of the plot of a short story.3.
