During the past 200 years, the world’s population urbanization(都市化)has become faster and faster. In 1800 only 3 of the world’s population lived in cities. By the end of 20th century, 47% did so. In 1950 there were 83 cities with a population of one million, and by 2007 this had risen to 468.
