教材分析:这是一篇阅读课,主要谈论的是有的父母担心孩子的业余爱好可能会影响其学习,因此禁止孩子发展自己的业余爱好,而孩子们是否应该被父母允许在这些方面自己作决定!本节课主要围绕Yiu Yu 对于自己运动方面的观点和他父母的观点之间的矛盾展开, 通过学习使学生学会用基本的目标语言阅读短文、理解短文,并根据提纲复述和概括短文,从而形成语言运用的能力。同时也让学生明白老师与父母的建议对他们的成长有着举足轻重的作用。学生情况分析:学生经过两年多的英语学习,有了一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读 写的能力;文中所谈论的问题实际上也是绝大多数学生正面临的问题,学生在使用所学目标语言进行讨论时,勇于发表自己的真实观点和想法,有利于培养学生英语学习的兴趣,增强学生开口讲英语的自信心。
教学目标分析
(1)知识目标① New words:support, enter, choice.② 学生能够用get in the way, worry about, be serious about, achieve one’s dreams spend…on…, care about这6个短语自己造句。③ 学生能够理解课文内容,并能完成相应的问题。。(2)能力目标能够用思维导图的方式进行阅读,通过阅读,掌握如何用情态动词的被动语态表达是否被允许。(3)情感目标培养学生勇于发表自己的观点和意见,明白接受父母,老师的合理化建议对他们成长的重要性。
教学重点、难点分析
教学重点:学生能够阅读短文并理解短文含义,运用略读和精读的阅读策略完成相关的阅读任务。 教学难点:学生能够用这6个短语造句:get in the way, worry about, be serious about, spend…on…, achieve one’s dreams care about.
教法选择与学法指导
运用任务型教学法,小组合作学习法,通过任务链,让学生学会使用正确的阅读策略,培养阅读能力。
六、教学过程

Step 2Free talk (2 minutes) (1)Show the following picture of Liu Xiang. (2)Have students talk about the picture . Talk about the picture. 通过让学生自由讨论,设计相关问题为引导学生阅读做好铺垫。
Step 3 Section 1Fast reading (6 minutes) Get the students to read the passage quickly and fill in the chart. Read the passage and try to fill in the chart. 通过快速阅读,完成相关任务,指导学生从整体上把握文章初步大意。培养学生快速浏览文章获取信息的阅读策略。
Step 4. Section 2Careful reading(12 minutes) Get the students to read the passage and answer the following questions.What do the teenagers think about the hobbies What do the parents worry about LiuYu’s parents won’t allow him to ___________。They think that their son needs to___________.Liu yu is ___________about running.What does Liu Yu think he shoud be___________allowed to do (用一个词组概括)Do his parents allow him to practice running on school nights Are his parents strict with him What do they think LiuYu should spend time on himself? 1.Read carefully ,answer these queations and underline the difficult points.2.Listen to the teacher carefully and try to understand the difficult points. 通过对每段设计相关的问题,让学生仔细阅读全文,使学生在理解的基础上引导学生熟读课文,逐步消化.理解和应用所学知识。
Step 5(5minutes)Language points Show some important sentences ,ask students to grasp some important new words and phrases. Learn some new words and phrases in the passage. 讲解重点难点,掌握知识点,让学生能够学以致用。
Step 6Section 3Practice(5minutes) (1)、Get the students to read the passage in the reading and try to fill in the chart ..(2)、Get the students to read the passage in the reading and try to retell the passage. 1.Work in group to fill in the chart .2.have some students retell the passage. 复述短文,既是对所学文章真正的理解,又能培养学生积极运用自己语言创造性输出。
Discussion(5minutes) Have students talk about whether Liu Yu should be allowed to make his own decision or not And say the reasons. Talk about the questions and make a report.Do you think Liu Yu should be allowed to practice running why or why not Do your parents support(支持,援助) what you do 通过进一步讨论与交流,渗透一点情感教育,启迪学生的思想达到情感的升华。
Summary(2minutes) Summarize what we have learned in this class. Make a list of the important language points.T 帮助学生回忆本节课所学,进一步巩固本节课所学。
Step 7Homework:(1minute) GroupA:Tell your dream to your parents and try your best to get their support. GroupB:Use the phrases to make sentences we learned. Choose their own homework and finish it. 作业分层要求,以适应不同层次的学生。
