考点归纳：强调句的基本结构是“It is/was +被强调成分+that (who)…”，其中的结构词it和that (who)为高考英语考查强调句的一个最常见的考点；答题时分别将强调句结构“it is……that……”去掉，若原句成立，则是强调句，否则不是强调句。

考点归纳：强调句型的特殊疑问句形式结构为“wh is/was it that…”; 当该句型结构在某一复合句中担任从句时用陈述语序，即：“wh it is/was that…” ;答题时首先根据该结构在原句中担任主句还是从句来判断选项为“wh is/was it that…”还是“wh it is/was that…”, 其次取掉“it is/was…that…”,来确定合适的wh.

（一）强调not…until…句式

考点归纳：not...until…用于强调句时的基本形式为“It is/was not until…that…”.应注意把否定词not转移到until前面，该句型不能用till代替until。另外that后面的从句要用肯定句；答题时，先去掉“it is/was…that…”后将not还原到后面的主句中，若原句成立.则为“It is/was not until…that…”的强调结构.

（二）强调其它从句
考点归纳：高考英语还考查对其他从句的强调，如主语从句，状语从句以及对含有定语从句所修饰的某一名词的强调，不管强调什么从句，都离不开其基本结构“It is/was…that…”。答题时，都离不开先去掉“it is/was…that…”, 还原原句的方式.

考点归纳：“It is+时间段+ since……”（自从……以来）, 该句型中的be动词通常为一般现在时态或现在完成时态，since引导的从句通常是一般过去时态。如果主句是一般过去时,从句则用过去完成时。

考点归纳：“It is+时间点+when……” （当……的时候,是……）, 该句型中的when引导的是一个时间状语从句. Be动词后的时间点前不能加介词,若加了介词, 则是强调句.

考点归纳：“It is +时间段+before…” （多久之后才……/不久……就……）, 该句型主句中be动词常用is/will be或was，主句中的表语多是long, not long , days , weeks等表示时间段的词或短语,且前面不能加介词,若加上介词,则为强调句；before后从句的时态只能是一般现在时或一般过去时.
