2. 能运用所学的知识及提示用英语写一篇短文，描述自己最喜爱的中国节日。

Step 1 Revision
Practice and review some words.

Step 2 Pre-writing
1. Free talk
Ask Ss to say out some festivals in China and some in foreign countries.

2. Learn the writing guide.
3. Show a sample writing to the students.

作的顺利展开打下基础。
Step 3 While-writing
Work on 3a&3b
1. Make some notes about the festival.
2. Write a letter to the pen pal using the notes in 3a.
