一、教学目标
1.熟练掌握下列词汇和短语：suggest, pass by, How about…等
2.熟练掌握下运用下列句型：
I wonder where we should go next.
Could you tell me where we should go next
I was scared at first, but shouting did help.
I suggest Water City Restaurant in Water World.
3.学会使用结构“Could you please tell me … I wonder… ”礼貌地询问信息，在输出过程中体验和感知目标语言。
4. 能够读懂有关描述游乐场所的文章，并使用宾语从句礼貌的寻求帮助。
5. 培养学生尊重他人，对人有礼貌，学会有礼貌的与他人沟通，培养乐于助人的思想品质。

重点：

2. 正确使用疑问词引导的宾语从句。
3.能使用略读、查读的阅读策略获取文段中的信息完成阅读任务。
难点：能够读懂有关描述游乐场所的文章，并使用宾语从句礼貌的寻求帮助。

Step 1 Warming-up
Look at the pictures and talk about the questions.
Could you tell me what you often do on the weekend
Have you ever been to an amusement park
What did you do there and what did you think of it

Step 2 Pre-reading
Look at the picture and read the title of 3a. Then discuss some questions.
1. Do you like amusement park What can you do at Fun Times Park
2. Do you always enjoy yourself in an amusement park
3. Which word or words in the title tell us that they always enjoy themselves
4. Can you describe the ride shown in the picture with some words
5. Do you want to be on that ride Why or why not

Step 3 While-reading
Work on 3a
Listen and read the conversation quickly.Then answer some questions.
2. Read the first part and fill in the blanks.

Language points
1. I wonder where we should go next.我想知道我们下一步该去哪？
wonder 作动词用时，表示“惊奇；想知道；怀疑”，后面接一个句子。
e.g. I wonder if you can help me.
2. How about that new ride over there 那边那个新的乘骑项目怎么样？
How / What about (doing)… 意为“……怎么样？”，用来征求意见。
3. I promise it’ll be exciting.我保证那一定很刺激。
promise 是动词，意思是“许诺；答应；保证”。
e.g. If you promise that you will do something, you must keep your promise.
4. I was scared at first, but shouting did help.起初我很害怕，但是大声喊很管用。
此句相当于 I was scared at first, but shouting helped. 原句是一种表现强调的句式。英语中，可用助动词do对谓语动词进行强调，构成强调句。
e.g. I do agree with you.
5. You never know until you try something. 有些事情你不去尝试，永远都不会知道你能行。
try 可以作名词，也可以作动词。
e.g. Well, we’ll try to finish the homework in time.
6. I suggest Water City Restaurant in Water World.我建议去水上世界的水城饭店。
suggest 用作动词时，可用于以下结构：
(1) suggest +n./pron.
(2) suggest +v-ing.
(3) suggest +that+句子.
e.g. He suggested a new way to solve the problem.
e.g. I suggest visiting the science museum on Saturday.
