Read the sentences in Grammar Focus and try to find out the usage of “used to”.
Grammar points
The usage of “used to”：used to 是固定搭配，意为“过去常常，过去曾经（存在）”，表示过去某种习惯性、经常性的动作或过去存在的某种状态，暗含现在已不再发生或不存在之意。主语可以是各种人称，用于过去时态，其后跟动词原形。
肯定句：Sb. used to…
否定句：Sb. didn’t use to…
一般疑问句: Did sb. use to…
反意疑问句: 附加疑问部分用did/ didn’t
拓展：Sb. be (get) used to doing sth. 意为“某人习惯于……”。 Sth. be used to do /for doing sth. 意为“某物被用于做……”。
