Language points
1. Sixteen-year-olds should be allowed to get their ears pierced.
sixteen-year-olds 十六岁的青少年,它相当于一个名词,等于sixteen-year-old kids. 意为“一个16岁青少年的表达方式”。
2. Teenagers should be allowed to choose their own clothes.
sb. + should / should not + be allowed to do... 意为“某人应该被允许/不应该允许做……”。
3. He should stop wearing that silly earring.
stop doing sth. 意为“停止做某事”,指停止正在做得事情。
stop to do sth. 意为“停下来去做某事”,指停止正在做的事情去做另一件事情。

bring sth. to do 意为“携带某物做某事”。
