一、教学目标
1. 掌握下列重点词汇及短语:support, enter, choice, get in the way of, be serious about
2. 掌握重点句型:
What is your dream job
Do your parents support your dream
But sometimes these can get in the way of their schoolwork, and parents might worry about their success at school.
I think I should be allowed to make this choice myself.
Only then will I have a chance to achieve my dream.
3. 能够读懂有关梦想的阅读材料,同时能够使用“在用中学”的学习策略完成阅读任务。
4. 能够使用目标语言谈论家庭制度,自己的梦想以及父母对自己梦想的支撑。
5. 能够使用情态动词和含情态动词的被动语态表达自己对事情的看法和观点。
6. 培养学生自我判断是非的能力,作为学生什么该做,什么不该做,要做到心中有数。

重点:

Step 1 Revision

Language points
1. But sometimes these can get in the way of their schoolwork, and parents might worry about their success at school.
(1) get in the way of… 意为“挡……的路;妨碍”。
(2) success 意为“成功”,此处作名词。
2. My wife and I have supported every one of his races.
support 此处作动词,意为“支持”;support sb. in (doing) sth. 意为“在(做)某事上支持
某人”。
3. We have nothing against running.
(1) have nothing against (doing) sth. 意为“不反对(做)某事”。
(2) against 意为“反对,违背”,是介词。反义词为for,意为 “支持”。
4. My parents have always taught me how important it is to work hard at school and enter university.
enter 此处作及物动词,意为“考上(学校或大学)”。
