Analysis of teaching material 本节深是一节写作复习课。话动3a-3b是相互联系的一个整体任务,需要学生就如何学习英语写一篇短文。3a是写前铺垫,通过填表进行写作思路及内容上的准备,旨在激发学生的兴题,并提供写作素材。3b则旨在训练学生利用3a表格信息构建连贯语篇,通过提供语言提示引导学生整理信息,帮助学生独立完成写作任务,达到训练、提升语言书写能力的目的。Self Check板块主要包括词汇、结构、功能等方面的评价练习,旨在引发学生思考,引导学生自主归纳和总结本单元知识,培养学生的自主学习能力。
Analysis of students 本单元已经基本结束,学生无论是对结构、功能还是话题都有了一定的了解和掌屋,并且能够初步运用。有了一定的写作“支架”,写作任务对学生来说难度不是很大,应该能顺利完成写作任务。

step1 Lead-in Play a video about
learning English. Enjoy the video.Try to find the was of learning.
To lead in the topic and create a learning environment.
Step2 Pre-writing
Show some pictures to
guide Ss to review the passage in 2b. Retell the passage in 2b
according to the pictures.
To remind students of the good learning habits and prepare some writing material.
Step3 Pre-writing3a
Ask students to go through the chart in 3a,then get students to choose the three best learning ways from the lists they make and tell the partners the reasons.And make Some notes in the chart. Think of three best learning ways and share the reasons with the partner. To communicate their learning ways with others to improve together.
Step4 While-writing.
Let students read the expressions in 3b by themselves. Then let them .Give him/
her some advice about the best ways to learn English, using the notes in 3a.
Read the expressions and write a letter to a friend. Ask the teacher for help if necessary. To let students finish writing task with the information in 3a by them selves to improve their writing skills.
Step5 Post-writing 3.Choose one of the student' letters,let the whole class
read it together and correct the mistakes.
Read the letter and correct the mistakes together. To let Ss to find out mistakes in their writing and guide them to correct them to improve the ability of writing.

Work on 1
Ask students to read the words in 1 and try to review the meanings of them. Check the answers and get students to give the reasons. Fill in the blanks and then check the answer with their desk-mates.

Ask Ss to go through the sentences by themselves.
Ask students to role-play the conversation.
Number these sentences in order to make a conversation. and check the answers.

Work on 3
Ask Ss to go through the three people's problems in learning English.
2.Then get students to try to give them advice.
Think of advice and share the answers.
