教材 分析 本节课是本单元的第二课时，是一节讲练课。以故事为线索，以过去进行时为语言学习目标，激发学生对故事内容的理解，从而由浅入深的学习过去进行时态的作用、谓语结构、句型结构及相关的时间状语和标志词。达到在语言交流中理解并且会使用过去进行时的目的。
学情 分析 学生在Unit 1第一课时已经通过听力和听后读熟悉了文章内容，且在第一课时中通过图片视频导入等形式大大激发了学生对爱丽丝漫游奇境故事的兴趣。但是学生对于文章中有关过去进行时重点句型以及重要短语用法还未完全掌握，还无法流畅地讲述童话故事的内容和学以致用。
学习 目标 通过本课时学习，学生能够： 1. 借助图片，结合语境，巩固与运用下列词汇：fall, fall down, follow, hole,rabbit, ground, by the river, have a tea party及故事中角色名称； 2. 根据提示在文中找出重点短语和句型，通过讲解与练习，能够情境中在运用三个知识点和过去进行时； 3. 通过点读、跟读与分角色朗读，能流利地朗读并复述对话主要内容。
评价任务 评价标准
1. 在具体语境中运用重点词汇 （指向目标1） 准确运用词汇
