maybe 副词，常位于句首作状语，意为”大概;或许;可能”,相当于perhaps。
may be may是情态动词，may be为“情态动词+动词原形”结构，在句中作谓语，意为“可能是”。

频度副词 (Adverbs of Frequency)
频度副词表示事情发生的频率， 可用来回答how often引导的问句。 常用的频度副词有always，almost always， usually，often， sometimes，hardly ever（seldom），never等，它们在频度上的差异可以这样表示：

often>sometimes>hardly ever(seldom)>
never(0%)
Eg: I always brush my teeth.

表示具体的次数或者频率时可以用once a week，twice a week, three times 等具体的次数来回答。值得注意的是once, twice表示一次、两次，其他的次数用数次+times。

放在实义动词前面。
