1. 基数词的表达
1) one到twelve, 拼写和读音无规律可言, 只
能逐一记忆。
2) thirteen到nineteen，表示“十几”，在个
位数后加后缀-teen，其中要注意
thirteen, fifteen和eighteen的拼写。
3) twenty到ninety，表示“几十”，以ty结
尾，但需注意twenty, thirty, forty, fifty,
eighty的拼写。
4) 21~29直到91~99，表示“几十几”, 用整
十位数加个位表示, 中间用连字符“-” 把十位
和个位连接起来。
2. 基数词的用法：
基数词只能修饰可数名词，要注意数词和名词在数上要保持一致。如：
one student 一名学生
two boys 两名男孩
twenty apples 二十个苹果
thirty-three eggs 三十三个鸡蛋
3. Come and buy your clothes at our great
sale! 我们在大甩卖，快来买衣服吧！
buy用作动词，意为“买”，常用短语
为：buy sb. sth./buy sth. for sb.意为“给
某人买某物”。
e.g. Let’s buy mom a new sweater. （= Let’s buy a new sweater for mom.）
我们给妈妈买件新毛衣吧。
clothes指身上穿的各种服装，包括上衣，内衣，裤子等，是衣服的总称。它不能直接与数词连用，但可以与some, many, these或those等连用。
e.g. Look! Some clothes are on sale over
there. 看！那边的衣服大减价了。
sale是动词sell的名词形式，常用短语：
on sale，意为“大甩卖/大减价”，其同义短语为at a great sale。
e.g. The sweaters are on sale.
The sweaters are at a great sale.
毛衣大减价了。
We sell all our clothes at very good prices.
我们卖的所有衣服价格都很优惠。
all与定冠词、指示代词、形容词性物
主代词等限定词连用时，all应放于这
些词之前。如：
all the students 所有这些学生
all her clothes 她所有的衣服
all those rooms 所有那些房间
5. We sell all our clothes at very good prices.
我们卖的所有服装价格都很实惠。
at very good prices意为“以非常优惠的价格”。 price用作名词，意为 “价格”。
the price of... 意为'...的价格'
e.g. What’s the price of the book
这本书多少钱

6. For girls, we have skirts in purple for only＄20.
对于女孩，我们有紫色的裙子，仅售20元。
1) for girls中的for是“对于……而言”；
for only＄20中的for是“以……价格”。
2) 该句中的skirts in purple = purple skirts
in+颜色，表示“穿……颜色的衣服”。
e.g. The girl in red is my sister.
