Procedure
Lead-in 1. Review: Translate the phrases in Unit 2 into English.2. Do some exercises about the basic tenses.
Step 1 Present some sentences with the six basic tenses.
Step 2 Review the six basic tenses one by one.
Step 3 Finish Activity 2 and Activity 3.
Step 4 More exercise related to the basic tenses.
Step 5 Exercise from Senior High School Entrance Examination.
Step 6 Speaking: practise using the basic tenses. Pair work. Make a dialogue, talking about a wonder of the world you have or have not visited.
Step 7 Introduce the Louvre Museum by present pictures and words.Do Activity 6
Step 8 Talk about the three pictures in Activity 7 and make Ss get familiar with the three wonders.
Step 9 Do Activity 7. Listen and number the pictures.
Step 10 Listen again and answer the questions about the three wonders.
Step 11 Listen again one by one and complete the table.
Step 12 After listening, ask Ss to choose from the three wonders and say which one they most like to visit and give reasons.
Step 13 Introduce Stonehenge by present a video. Then ask Ss toread the passage and complete the table about Stonehenge.
Step 14 Enjoy a song Chupee.
