设计说明 本课时学习有关学习方法的短文。教学时先从讨论学习习惯入手，导入新课，进入对课文的学习，通过对不同任务的阅读体验，让学生理解文本内容。 教学目标 通过本课时的学习，让学生达成以下目标： 1.知识目标 (1) 单词：born, ability, create, brain, active, attention, connect, overnight, review, knowledge, lifelong, wisely (2) 短语：be born with, pay attention to, connect…with (3) 句型：But whether or not you can do this well depends on your learning habits. Use it or lose it. Practice makes perfect. Knowledge comes from questioning. 2.能力目标 (1) 能谈论一些好的学习习惯。 (2) 学会怎样成为一名成功的学习者。 3.情感目标 通过学习,培养学生良好的学习习惯和遇到困难勇于进取的精神。 重点难点 1.重点:能够从阅读材料中总结成功的语言学习习惯；训练学生快速阅读语篇,并从语篇中获取重要内容的技能。 2.难点:让学生能够通过上下文猜测生词的含义。 教学准备 PPT课件 教学过程 Step 1　Lead-in Ask the students to have a discussion. What good learning habits can you think of Make a list and discuss them with your partner. Some possible answers: Being attentive in class. Having an interest in class. Preview what you’ll learn before a lesson. Reviewing what has learned after each lesson. Asking questions in class. Having a study partner. Step 2　Reading Fast reading Task 1 Get the students to scan the passage and answer the following questions: 1. What does the passage talk about 2. Which four habits of successful learners can you find from the passage Check the answers one by one. The answers are: 1. The passage talks about good learning habits. 2. Task 2 Read the passage and find the words in 2d, then guess the meanings of them.
