I think helping others is important and necessary. Taking part in volunteer work is one of the greatest ways to give a hand to those who need help. And I like it very much.
I remember I helped the old people ’ s home last Saturday. First, I cleaned the room and the windows for them because It was not convenient for them to do such things. What’s more, I told them some interesting stories, sang some English songs for them and they moved to tears. When it was time to say goodbye , I hugged them and promised to see me again.
Everyone may have trouble in life and our little kind act can make a big difference in their life. In fact, helping others is helping ourselves. I will do the same in the future because it can bring me and other people happiness.

Now, I’d like to share my favorite festival with you. I like Spring Festival best of all. Spring festival is the most important festival in China. It is a time when families get together. People visit their relatives, sending their best wishes for a new year.
The reason why I love it is that every kid can get lucky money from their parents or other relatives. What’s more, I can set off firecrackers on New Year’s Eve. It’s really fantastic. During the special festival, I usually make some New Year’s resolutions on study and health. As is known to all, “A good beginning is half done.” Do you think so A particular thing that most Chinese do is to watch The CCTV New Year's Gala. It brings laughter to many people.
