My Summer Holiday resolutions
The summer holiday is coming. First, I’ m going to do some sports and have a god rest as well, and I will try to learn to relax myself. Second, I will read more useful books in order to know more about the world. Then I will spend more time in chatting with my parents and learn how to do some housework. At the same time, I am going to take part in the social activities so that I can get everything ready for my future. Finally, I hope to travel to Beijing which is my dream in the past three years. I think I will have an interesting and meaningful summer holiday.

With the summer holiday approaching, I have made up mind to do something to change my life .First, I plan to take more physical exercise to build up my body. and I will try to learn to relax myself. Second, I will try to open up my mind by reading widely .What a relaxing moment it is to swim happily in the ocean of knowledge and then I will spend more time in communicating with my parents and learn how to do some housework to lighten their burden. At the same time, I am going to take part in the social activities so that I can enrich my life and develop my skills and confidence. Finally, I hope to travel to Beijing where I will have the chance to experience the customs and culture of the world. What an interesting and meaningful summer holiday I will have. I am looking forward to it.
My Dream
Everyone has a dream. My dream is to become a successful doctor, helping those sick people and saving their lives. I want to be a doctor because our country needs good medicine and good doctors, especially in the countryside and distant villages. Of course, to be a good doctor is very difficult, but I will do whatever I can to make my dream come true. Now I am a junior student. Firstly I must study hard in order to go to a good high school. Thus after I finish my senior high school, I will be able to go to a good university to study medicine. Finally, I can find a good job in the future. I am sure that through my great efforts, I will be able to realize my dream of being a doctor.
As a saying goes: “ I have two hands. One is for helping myself, the other is for helping others.” Only if everyone is willing to contribute can this world be a better place to live in.
Last Sunday, our volunteer group took part in the volunteer work in their neighborhood. First, we helped clean up the yard. Then, we went to a local hospital to visit the sick kids. We also sang songs for some lonely old people to make them happy. At last, we gave a speech to children in order to call on them to join us. We all thought we put our time to good use.
In my opinion, being a volunteer is a good experience for us. Not only can it develop our interests, but also our ability and social skills can be improved. Nowadays, people around us need our help and we need some help, too. Let’s be volunteers today! The society will be full of love and more and more wonderful if everyone can do it.
