一、教学内容分析
这是外研版新标准九年级上教材M6这模块谈论的是problems, 这一话题贴近学生生活，青少年在成长过程中会遇到诸多烦恼，比如学业压力、青春期的困惑、与父母和同伴的相处等。Unit 2是以读者来信寻求建议及回复给出建议的形式出现的，文本内容与学生生活密切相关。通过学习文本后，让学生明白，当生活中遇到烦恼时，要学会分析，要善于同他人交流看法，积极寻求解决问题的途径，而不是采取非理智的极端行为，从而培养学生健康的心理和健康的人格。

三、学习者特征分析
本课的话题贴近学生的生活实际，也是学生感兴趣的，但运用一定的目标词汇，谈论在我们生活和学习中遇到的“问题 ”，并提出解决问题的可行性建议时则需要老师引导，尤其是写作中结构的合理布局需要老师给予指点。
