Step 1：Have a dictation
Get the students to write the words and phrases in Unit 1.Check their work to see if they have grasped the usages of the points.
Step 2：Practice
1．Read the conversation in Activity 3 again.
2．Find the sentences in the conversation which mean：
(1)Changing the subject，can I get the camera
(2)It is not a problem.I will use another memory card.
(3)I will do what you tell me to do.
3．Let some students read out the sentences，then check the answers.
Step 3：Answer the questions
1．Read the words in the yellow box aloud.
2．Look through the questions in Activity 5.

3．Ask some students answer the questions and check the answers.
Step 4：Pronunciation
1．Play the tape.Let the students listen and mark the pauses.
2．Listen again and check.
3．Repeat after the tape.
Step 5：Speaking
1．Work in pairs.Talk about the advantages of these inventions.
