Warming-up 1.Guessing game. Have students guess which invention it is according to the descriptions. 2.Teacher asks students to brainstorm as many great inventions as possible. 1.由guessing game进行导入,激发学生讨论的兴趣,从而引出模块话题inventions。 2.以brainstorming和word map的形式激活学生脑海中有关发明的单词,导入本课话题。
Pre-listening Free talk. Which one do you think is the most important Why 通过Free talk,让学生进行自由讨论,引发对话题的思考。
Listening The first listening material: 1.Teacher asks students to listen and answer the questions: What are they talking about 2.Teacher asks students to listen again and choose the best answer. The second listening material: 1.Teacher asks students to listen and choose: 1) What does Tony want to borrow from his father 2) In their opinion, which invention has changed their lives 2.Have Ss listen to Part 1 and complete the table. Have Ss listen to Part 2 and answer the questions: 1)Will Tony's Dad lend the camera to him 2)What may be the problem with the camera 3)Where are the instructions 4)What are Tony promises to his father 1.第一遍听力引导学生通过回答问题掌握听力材料的主旨大意。 2.第二遍听力以选择题的形式降低难度,培养学生听并抓取细节的能力。 1.第一遍听取对话大意,通过第二小问引出网络对古今生活方式的改变。 2.把对话分为两个部分精听,听第一部分并用选择的形式降低难度,培养学生听取关键信息和理解信息的能力。 3.听对话第二部分,培养学生听取关键信息和理解信息的能力。同时渗透单词教学。在听难题时用选择题的形式降低难度,增强学生自信心。
Post listening 1.Read the summary of the conversation. Underline the wrong information and correct it. Tony wants to borrow his father’s camera and take some photos of the school dance and the basketball match. The photos will be shown in the school magazine. Tony’s dad lends the camera. He promises Tony to look after it. 2.Have Ss use the words in the box to complete the sentences. 3.Teacher asks students to listen and imitate. While listening, pay attention to the pauses. 4.Teacher leads Ss to summarize the grammar. 5.Teacher leads Ss to work in pairs and talk about an invention. 1.通过阅读,加深学生对对话的理解。 2.练习巩固生词。 3.听读课文要求学生模仿跟读,注重语音语调和停顿。 4.总结一般将来时被动语态的结构并拓展。 5.输出活动回到主题invention,让学生两人合作,讨论一项发明并发表自己的看法,锻炼口语表达能力。
