一. Sentence stress
When we speak,we usually stress the important words ( nouns, verbs, adjectives,
adverbs and numbers ) in a sentence. We do not usually stress unimportant words,
e.g. a, the, he, of, is, and, have and can.

二. Function words such as articles, personal pronouns, prepositions, auxiliary verbs
(助动词) or modal verbs, be verbs, conjunctions, etc. should be weakly read in sentences. But if it is for emphasis, it will also be re read.

1.When auxiliary verbs, prepositions and pronouns are placed at the beginning of a sentence.
例如:On my way to school, my bike was broken.
2.When emphasizing a function word or be verb.
例如:We saw him playing by the river.
3.Be verbs and auxiliary verbs should be stressed when combined with not.
例如:I'm sorry I can't do that.
4.The be verb and auxiliary verb at the end of the sentence are generally stressed.

Some words have both a strong form and a weak form.

一. “加”的表达方法
A+B=C
A plus B is C.
“1+2=3”的时候,可以这样来表述: “One plus two is three.”它对应的疑问句要使用what来引导: “What's one plus three ”,这个时候需要用“It's...”句型回答,也就是:“It's three.”
二.“减”的表达
A-B=C
A minus B is C.
表示“减”的单词是minus,“3-2=1”,就是“Three minus two is one.”对应的疑问句: What's three minus two ",回答也是"It's one."

A times B is C.
times变成“乘”。 比如你想说,3乘4等于12,可以表达为:“3 times 4 is 12.”
四.“除”的表达
A÷B=C
A divided by B is C.
用于除法的单词却是一个动词——divide,一般会和介词by连用。比如你想说“12÷2=6”,在英语里是这样的“12 divided by 2 is 6.”,动词divide要用它的过去式形式(divided)。
