一、教材分析
本课教材为外研社《英语》(新标准)(三年级起点)四年级下册Module 9
Unit 1 Did he live in New York 本单元的课文情景是Daming给 Sam看他的表哥 Dalong从美国寄来的明信片。本单元主要的学习重点是行为动词一般过去时的一般疑问句结构。学生已经学过一般现在时的一般疑问句结构,熟悉:“Do you… Does he … ”这一结构。因此,“Did you… Did he… ”等行为动词一般过去时的一般疑问句结构学习难度不会很大。
二、学情分析
本单元的教学对象为三起英语的四年级学生,他们活泼好动,注意力容易分散,爱表现。他们对直观、新颖、有趣的内容感兴趣,喜欢参与活动。经过一年半的英语学习,他们具备了初步的听说读写的技能,可以提高对他们的要求。本单元主要的学习重点是一般过去时的一般疑问句结构。这一部分学生已经接触过,相对比较容易。所以在本节课的设计上,教学中应利用PPT、单词卡片,游戏等尽量直观地呈现教学内容,以便优秀学生能有所发挥的同时让基础薄弱的学生也能参与其中,掌握相关句型、词汇,进一步使学生能够听懂对话识读生词。

a.全体学生能运用语句:Did he live in New York

c.全体学生能运用一般疑问句询问过去的行为
d.全体学生能拼写2-3个自选词语。
