Teaching objectives Students will be able to understand and use the following expressions: here we go, central, according to, magical, height, sailing boat, northeast, sheep, hat, keep, fly, scissors, wool, diary, hate, ant, brush, at the time.Students will be familiar with the topic of Australia and will be able to understand dialogues about that.Most of the students will be able to guess before listening, understand the main idea of the dialogue, grasp specific information, and recognize the links between sentences.Most of the students will be able to work in groups and exchange information with others.Most of the students will talk about the places they have visited.

Pre-listening 1. Teacher talks with students, uses some photos to introduce Australia briefly, at the same time teach some new words. 1.通过自由讨论和呈现图片的形式,同时导入相关新词,为接下来的活动做好准备。

Post-listening 1. Teacher asks students to read and answer the questions in Activity 4.2.
