Sharon, Aged 22
The most important thing to keep in mind when going into high school is to be yourself. Besides, I don't know what your middle school was like, but high school teachers will not care about things such as how much homework you already have in one night. It's best to just learn to deal with things and manage your time wisely so you can achieve everything you need to.
Frank, Aged 21
I think almost every kid feels both nervous and excited before their first day. You will probably love it. I know I did. You should join some sports or activities that will make your high school experience more enjoyable. Good luck!
Eddie, Aged 20
When I started high school, I was really nervous too, especially since I had been home-schooled all through middle school and didn't really know anyone. I suppose the best advice would be to just relax. The first couple of days can be a little bit hard, but things will become easier before you know it.
David, Aged 19
I’m not going to lie. The first day is kind of frightening (令人恐惧的). But you’ll get used to it. Don't be afraid of anyone; upperclassmen will pick on you more if you let them know you're afraid. Just take it easy. Making some friends and staying with them will greatly help you get used to high school quickly. After the first week, it's really not bad at all. Don't worry

Learning English at a college is different from learning English at a middle school. In a middle school, we learn English mainly for entrance examination for college, while the purpose of learning English at a college is quite different. We study forcing languages now to improve our ability to work well in the future and especially to communicate with foreigners.
Having been studying here for nearly 2 years, I have come to some conclusions about how to learn English well. Above all, you should try your best to enlarge your vocabulary. Only in this way can you read more and understand others as well. Secondly, listening and speaking play important roles in learning English. While talking with foreigners, if you can' t understand them, how can you express your ideas And the last point is that you should improve your English level whenever you can.
However, there is still a long way to go to learn English well. As people usually say, "There is no end to learning" There are so many ways to learn English. So long as you keep studying, you will surely improve.
24. In the writer' s opinion, to learn English well, it is the most important
A. to try to learn more words by heart
B. to learn grammar rules well
C. to have the correct purpose
D. to learn it by yourself
25. The writer seems to be more worried about if communicating with foreigners face to face.
A. speaking B. understanding C. reading D. writing
26. What's the best title of this text

C. English Is Widely Used in the World.
D. My Experience on How to Learn English Well.
