Pre-listening Have Ss work in pairs to talk about the picture and say what is happening (activity 1). 新课导读,激活学生已有的知识。
Listening 1.Have Ss listen to the dialogue in activity 2 and complete the sentences. 2.Have Ss listen to the dialogue in activity 3 and answer the following questions: What did He Zhong do last year What subject does Daming suggest Tony should choose Where is Tony’s real hometown Daming suggests Tony should_______________. Tony thinks Daming’s suggestion is_______. 1.理解听力对话内容; 2.学习策略指导:培养学生做听前预测,抓关键词。
reading 1.Have Ss read the conversation and choose the correct answer in activity 4. 2.Have Ss read the conversation again and complete the passage. Tony is going to enter ___________________. And he wants to beat He Zhong, the boy ______ won the competition last year. He chooses the _________ Home and Away. Daming advises him to take some photos of Beijing and _______ some photos of Cambridge that he took recently.
