“How old …？”句型和“When is one’s birthday？”
句型的用法
（1）“How old …？” 意为“……多大年纪？几岁了？”，用来询问年龄。其句型结构为 “How old be＋主语？”，其答语为“主语＋be＋基数词＋year(s) / month(s) old. ”或“主语＋be＋基数词”，也可以直接说年龄。
—How old is John？ 约翰多大了？
—He is 12 years old. / He is 12. / 12. 他十二岁。
（2）“When is one’s birthday？ ”意为“某人的生日是什么时候？”，是用来询问某人生日的常用句型。其答语为“My / His / Her birthday is on … / It’s on …”。
—When is her birthday？ 她的生日是什么时候？
—It’s on May 6th./ Her birthday is on May 6th. 五月六号。
