能够运用why询问某人喜爱某种动物的原因。

熟练拼写和运用重点词汇。
掌握和运用why引导的特殊疑问句及其回答、。

教学过程:
Leading-in
Play an English song 《Old Macdonald had a farm 》.Then ask some questions:How many kinds of animals are there on Old Macdald’ s farm? Where can we see more animals ? 由学生回答动物园,导入新课。
New words
出示动物的图片,教学新单词:tiger, elephant, koala, panda, lion, giraffa, 教学新单词的同时,对动物进行简单描述,学习描述的形容词:cute, smart, lazy, beautiful 等。词不离句,使学生在用中学,学中用。
Play a game
呈现动物的半身照片,同时播放tiger,elephant lion 等的叫声,让学生猜出动物的名称。声音和图片能刺激学生的感官,让他们在游戏中快乐地学习和巩固新单词。
New sentences
You know many animals .What animals do you want to see first ?Why? 引出新句型:

Practice the conversation in pairs.
5. 1a
Match the words with the animals in the pictures. First ask the students finish 1a,and then check the answers.

Play the tape ,ask the students to check the animals they hear in 1a.,and then check the answers.Then look at the tapescripts on P91.ask the students to read and act it out.
