一、教材分析
本节课是外研版小学英语四年级下册Module 1的第三课时,处理了教材的Listen and chant, Listen and say (U2), Listen and say. Then chant, Do and say,共4个活动。本模块的主题是friends,功能讨论人的性格特征。本单元的学习重点是形容词的用法表达人的性格特征。本单元内容是对旧知的拓展和巩固,但学生要综合运用还是会有一定的难度。
二、学情分析
已知:在三年级下学期学习过关于人的高矮肥瘦的形容词的表达。在本册前一个单元已经学习了讨论人的性格特征。
未知:对家人的介绍和家人性格特征的表达。
三、教学目标
1. 语言能力目标
(1)学会描述人物的性格特征。
(2)学会用 “This is my big brother.”以及 “ He is cool..”的语言结构。
2. 学习能力目标
(1)能主动练习与实践所学内容;
(2)能积极运用英语进行交流;
(3)学会与他人合作。
3. 思维品质目标
通过创设情境和游戏等活动激发学生的参与热情;能用所学句型,介绍自己的朋友或家人。
4. 文化品格目标
(1)懂得应该结交更多的朋友,了解朋友,并善于发现朋友的优点。
(2)懂得家人也是最好的朋友的情感。
四、教学重点
(1)词汇:aunt, uncle, big, little
(2)学会用 “This is my big brother.” “ He is cool.”……的语言结构。
五、教学难点
学生运用所学知识进行表达与交流,并把所学知识运用到日常生活中,介绍自己的家人以及其性格特征。
六、教学策略
歌谣,游戏,角色扮演,小组合作。
七、教辅手段
(1)教具准备:单词卡、熊猫头饰、自制图片和课件等。
(2)教学准备:课前布置学生准备搜集自己家人、朋友的照片或者自画人物图。

Warm-up(5 mins) Greeting. Talk with teacher. 师生自由交流,既复习了旧知,又逐步培养了学生用英语进行交流的能力。
2. Check. Introduce your friends Show picture of family or friends and introduce them to class. 学生们介绍熟悉的家人朋友进行知识复习,既能调动学生的学习兴趣,又能很好的复习旧知
3. Chant.This is my father. He’s very clever.This is my mother. She’s a nice teacher.This is my brother. He’s very naughty.This is my sister. She’s a bit shy. Look at PPT then chant together. 借助韵律轻松的歌谣,让学生轻松复习旧知为课文学习作铺垫。
4. Lead inShow the invitation card. Panpan invite Jett to his family’s birthday party. Lead the students to say “He’s cool.” Look at the picture and say “He’s cool.” 盼盼送邀请函给乐迪,邀请他到家里参加妹妹的生日派对,创设情境自然地引出课文。
Presentation(15 mins) 1.Create situation .Show a picture of Panpan’s home. Then say “He introduce his family and friend to Jett. Do you know who they are ” Look at the picture and think. 通过创设生日派对这一情境增加了学习的趣味性。
2. Watch and answer the questions. How many people does Panpan introduce Then learn the new words: aunt, uncle, big, little. 1.Watch the video 2.Answer the question.3.Learn the new words: aunt, uncle, big, little. 通过提出问题,吸引了学生的注意力, 让学生在情境中学习新单词。乐迪来到盼盼家里后,Panpan使用重点句型This is … He/ She is ….向乐迪介绍Panpan’s family.
3.Sharp eyes. Look and say the words quickly. 美观的樱树开花让学生集中精神反复操练新旧单词。
4. Listen, point and say. Point and read the text. 听说结合,培养学生听说能力,在听录音的过程中,学生可以进行跟读,模仿其语音语调,熟悉课文。

Practice(10 mins) 1.Guessing game. Guess “Who is he/she ” according to the tips. 本环节主要是帮助学生理解对话大意,呈现重点知识,为后面的练习做铺垫。
2.Read and judge. Read the text then judge the sentences. 判断对错,整体理解文本,为后面补全句子铺垫。
3.Read and write. Read the text then write down the words in sentences. 补充句子单词,理解单词为后面文本的输出做铺垫。
4.Show time: role play Role play the text. 带上相应的头饰让学生亲身扮演让学生反复操练表达人的性格特征。
Consolidation and extension(8 mins) Do and say One student draw out the card about the characters and jobs in the two boxes. The other students say the sentences out. 通过有趣的游戏,活跃气氛,让学生在游戏中运用单词和句子。
2. Show a text and a picture of Panpan’s family tree. Then ask students to draw their family tree. 1.Learn the text and the family tree of Panpan.2. Draw a family tree and finish the text. 通过画思维导图, 利用所学句型及单词,介绍家人或朋友. 通过这项练习促进了知识的内化,培养了学生实际运用语言的能力。
3. Chant. Lead the students to chant together.This is a little girl, and she has a little curl. And When she is good, she’s very very good. And when she is bad, she is very very bad. Today is her birthday. We say Happy birthday to her. Chant together then say Happy birthday to Panan’s sister. 通过给盼盼妹妹唱一首歌谣,首尾呼应。
4. Emotional education: Show the picture of a big family, let the students know our families are the best friends. Know the importance of family. 学习了本课关于家人朋友的话题后知道家人朋友的重要性。
Summary(1min) Lead students to retell the text according to the blackboard design. Retell the text. 总结学习内容,加深学生理解。
Homework(1min) 1. Retell the text to family.2. Make a video about introducing family member. Finish the homework. 贴近生活,拍一个介绍家人视频,巩固已学知识,在生活中应用英语

十、教学反思
本课是(英语》(新标准)第一模块的第三课时,即第二单元的第一课时。学生要掌握课文,要掌握aunt,uncle,big,little等单词,并能运用 This is my…..He’s/She’s….句型对人及其性格特征进行描述。在本节课中我采用任务型教学途径,设计的教学活动尽量贴近学生真实的生活,如上课开始检查上节课布置的作业让学生描述自己的家人及朋友。我运用了同学们的真实照片,激发学生们参与课堂的热情。在完成整个任务的过程中,学生能用上他们所学的知识和技能,在合作中培养了他们综合运用语言的能力。
语言的学习与情景创设是密不可分的。在本节课中老师努力创设真实情景,引导学在真实语境中习得、活化语言。在学习单词“ little”时,老师并没有花费过多时间专门讲个单词,而是通过讲解图片中的盼盼的家人朋友,帮助学生理解 新词aunt,uncle,big brother和 little sister,运用新词,引导学生在真实语境中自然习得语言。
从施教情况来看,本节课也存在着一些需要改进的地方。有几个学生参与课堂活动的积极性不够高,这就需要教师在设计活动时考虑层次性,给后进生设计较简单的问题。
在本课最后制作family tree的环节中,老师就盼盼的family tree,补充学生原来学过的有关描述人物外貌特征的文本,但是,在教授过程中学生对于文本的补充存在一定的问题,仍在在课文知识与文本的整合方面做一些有效的调整。
